Why we like these:
These are OEM batteries from a company in China that produces branded products for some of the larger weapon light companies on the market. They are awesome and we’ve been using them for a couple of years now.
We like these because, like the Streamlight SL-B26, the built in micro USB plug makes them super convenient to charge. However, these have a capacity of 3500mAh compared to 2600mAh of the Streamlight SL-B26, so you’ll be getting a longer runtime out of these. Having a 2 pack also gives you the ability to have a backup, as well as charge and rotate them regularly. One of these batteries fits perfectly in the BCM Mod 3 grip, which is where we keep our spare.
If you own or are purchasing a ProTac HL-X, we highly recommend going with an 18650 battery. While the included CR123s will work, you will get a longer runtime with the 18650, plus save a ton of money over time from not having to replace batteries.
