Finish note: The PVD coating will show wear at metal-to-metal contact points — primarily the locking lug face and barrel hood — over time. This is normal and does not affect function or accuracy.
Hand-cycle a few dummy rounds to confirm headspace and feeding before live fire. Thread the protector (or your muzzle device) finger-tight against the shoulder.
