With the Phased Array® Gas System, Bombproofing is not permissible due to the location of the gas ports. Some gas leakage will be normal.
This barrel is engraved as .223 chambering, but is rated for full-pressure 5.56 NATO. The chamber is optimized for .223/5.56 match grade ammunition.
There are 2 dimples machined in the gas journal for the gasblock set screws.*We recommend barrel installation be performed by a qualified gunsmith.
