Our go-to recommendation for upgrading a standard mil-spec buffer spring and buffer is an H2 buffer with a Sprinco Enhanced (blue) buffer spring. While a lot of factors play into which buffer and buffer spring combo is ideal for your rifle, we have found that this is generally a great “middle ground” to start with.
