Schmid Tools & Engineering’s 6 position MIL spec receiver extensions have 4 drain holes in the carbine stock latch holes, plus another at the end/tip of the RE, they have dry film lubricant applied to the interior.
Schmid milspec 6 position REs are the basis of our REF. Whereas REF is Cerakoted and has latch position markings engraved on both sides, factory Schmid REs are anodized, without latch position markings.
The blemished REs offered here are typical of REs made from impact extrusion most won’t consider to be blemished. In any case, the dings are usually not visible once a stock has been installed. Some have a bit of dry film lube on the external threads, some have minor dings that do not affect functionality.
