SOUTHERN MUNITIONS 9MM 147 GRAIN HYBRID HOLLOW POINT REMANUFACTURED AMMUNITION – 500 ROUND BOX
Our Southern Munitions Hybrid Hollow Point round is an amazing blend of a swaged lead core projectile that is then copper plated to ensure complete coating across the entire lead surface area. We load this round to an average velocity of 900fps out of a standard 4″ barrel. What makes this bullet unique is the hybrid technology that holds the main body of the projectile together upon impact, causing a 2% or less reduction in original bullet mass. This creates a massive wound cavity, along with less chance of overpenetration and consistency in spent energy. This is currently loaded with mixed headstamp brass, the same that we used in our target remanufactured ammunition lines, and the Berry’s Manufacturing Hybrid 147gr Hollow Point projectile. This is a true defensive hollow point round for carry and self defense use. At this price point it’s also an amazing round for target practice and is naturally subsonic at this weight and velocity!
